Jack started his own plans for a new building on the property and in 2002 began construction of the current building as Clanwilliamers know it today. In 2003 opened the Van Zyl's new Ramskop Butchery and things go from strength to strength with the family at the helm. After Uncle Dirk's death in 2008, Jack went on with the family business. Jack's wife, Leonie keep the books up to date and from an early age, their two daughters, Leonie and San-Mare in the butchery worked.
