The restaurant that we started in 2014 is surely an old acquaintance of many locals, as it is one of the main streets of the town and has a reputation for being a buffet with over 80 dishes.

On the food front cooking, not much happens gatherings in my house this weekend, I think the closest we came to cook, was toasted ham, cheese gatherings and tomato sandwiches Sunday evening. Friday night we went to my wife's friends will eat (those of you who now smaail often read my blog) and Saturday gatherings night at our friends we made pot, friend Werner have to have the soup pot as reference, but all and all the pot tasted great, thanks Steyn. Sunday I took my love for lunch at the restaurant at Du Toit's Kloof Lodge, specifically for trout, delicious baked trout, you have a choice between trout with almonds, or trout with a lemon butter and deegie, both are delicious. As many times as I walked to a restaurant then I feel cheated and I feel I was the food easier, Sunday was not one of those days, the fish was perfect and served with beans cooked with mushrooms and delicious sweet carrots and rice or fries. The bill for two trout, a salad, a bottle of wine and a bottle of water - the sum of R245.00, now I can not remember gatherings the last time I got so little account did not walk I buy wine next door at Du Toit's Kloof winery's tasting room to change, and while I was there, I bought when just olive oil and balsamic vinegar from the Nuy Valley also (Willow Creek) The only disappointment is the sad deli, there was always delicious jams and fresh and frozen trout, but yesterday gatherings there were only a couple of frozen trout and a lot of nonsense in the shop, hopefully the new owners are still working gatherings to decide what they will do.
